"When my husband needed care and later died, I turned to Lee for help in navigating the waters of our long term care benefits. I was in a state of shock; Lee took charge and walked me through the entire process of filing a claim. She was always available to answer me with grace and great understanding through this difficult time."

If you are between 40 and 75, do not currently need care or have serious health conditions that will surely require future care, it may be appropriate for you to consider insurance to supplement or cover the high costs of extended care. If you have less than $100,000 in assets, not including your home if you own one, it is most likely that long term care insurance is not appropriate for you unless someone is assisting you with the premiums. If that is your situation, or that of a loved one, you should familiarize yourself with Medi-Cal rules.
As an independent long term care insurance agent, I specialize in and am able to keep up to date with the ever evolving variety of insurance products and options within them. I owe no allegiance to any particular company. Rather, my goal is to find the best possible company for each client, one that is stable and will provide excellent claims service, support and cash flow, when it is most needed.
My commitment to my clients is to listen to their concerns, educate them on the issues involved with aging and chronic health conditions, and communicate various tailored options to them clearly and without pressure. Should they want to proceed, I coach them through the underwriting process. And it doesn't stop there. I continue to be responsive to their needs and questions moving forward, enabling them to get the most out of their coverage. I also have a wide network of trusted professionals that I regularly to refer to my clients, including senior housing specialists, home care agencies, financial planners, and estate attorneys.
I believe that everyone can make a good choice if they fully understand the issues and the options. Long term care insurance can be an excellent choice for many, but not for all.
